23rd September
Frankie left us in Marseille on the 4th of September - so rather than sitting around feeling glum, we set sail from Sausset les Pins and headed along the coast towards Agde. We visited some lovely anchorages on the way - but didnt see much because of the fog!!!
We had the mast down in Cap d'Agde on 10th September and then we werre able to re-enter the canal. We stayed at Vias again for a few days - Paul loves the fishing there and itès close to the beach. I had my last Med-swim - very sad!!
Then, we headed off to Beziers where Peter, my sister`s husband, joined us. He had not been on the canal before so we all had great fun - crazy times in the locks, tying to trees at night, sampling the wine caves etc!! He stayed withus to Castelnaudary - even sampled Cassoulet before he left.
We are now back in Castelsarrasin! the boat will be craned out into the boat yard later today.
We are off to start workk on our little house!! (more details to follow)
